LVFF Volunteer Opportunities
Fleece Sale
- Staff fleece sale area during festival hours
- Be knowledgeable about the different fleeces/work with juror for customer service
- Process fleece sales
Merchandise
- Customer service with LVFF merchandise and artist pieces
- Process sales on Square (credit cards and cash)
- Wrap & package sales
- Restock artist pieces and merchandise as necessary
Information Booth
- Main point for all festival needs
- Charge and distribute walkies
- Maintain volunteer refreshments (coolers/snacks)
- Main point place for artist questions
- Receive artist applications for following year
- Greet all customers
- Hand out program books and explain where everything is, highlight specifics (fleece sales, classrooms, bathrooms, concessions)
- Stash Bash base – collect donations, explain to donors how their gift will be used
- Act as lost & found, lost children, etc
- First aid center
Runner
- Booth sitter when artists need breaks
- Change runner – walk site and check with artists if they need change/other needs
- Generally make sure artists are doing okay and help them as needed
Set Up Assistance (Friday)
- Assist artisans loading in as needed
- Assist show management in booth space layout/marking
- Assist in setting up information booth, classrooms, fleece sale
Tear Down (Sunday after 4pm)
- Assist artisans load out as needed
- Assist show management in cleaning up venue prior to departure
